...So now what?

Hello to the very few people that actually read this blog.

I did it. 365 movie ideas for a full year. Sure, I missed a few days here and there, but I actually made a goal and accomplished it.
This daily practice has helped me in so many ways. It taught me to think on the spot, it made me feel better knowing that I will write crap every now and then, I helped me learn to be more consistent with getting work done, and it helped me see what patterns, issues, and values keep showing up in my writing. I've even made a short film out of one of the ideas. All in all, I can say that the practice helped me be a better writer.
After doing this for a full year, it makes me feel weird knowing that it's over. I'm thinking of starting a new practice. Ideas I have include:
-A 2 page script a day
-A character a day
-A synopsis a day
-A 5-10 minute short every month
-Work on one feature script/film every single day until it's finished

Some of these ideas seem good, although some might be unrealistic or too much to handle. I'd like to try them, though. Something to keep the flow of doing something with writing/filmmaking on a daily basis.

On the fourth anniversary of her mysterious grandmother's death, a college bound girl finds a copy of an old movie that her grandmother starred in during the 60's with a love letter (along with a return address) attached from the director. The girl goes on a journey to meet this director and find some answers she's looking for in regards to her grandmother.

A twelve-year-old girl wakes to find herself in an unknown town that she had a dream about last night. She's told by a man that she is now in a coma and that the town is all in her head, and that the only way she can wake up is if she finds her family with no help whatsoever.

A teenage girl that's never left her house gets out of her house and tries to find her father in her rural Montana hometown when he goes missing, but finds it to be difficult since she's never been outside of her house.

A soldier runs away while he's still stationed in Afghanistan and lives a life in hiding as a meth dealer in Turkey.

A stripper resuscitates in a morgue after getting shot by her ex-boyfriend, but she is now mute. She goes on a journey through her rural/suburban hometown while she's trapped in her own thoughts and ideas.

An elementary schoolteacher that moonlights as a stripper runs into a student's parent, an upper middle class homemaker whose husband travels all the time for work. They form a strange relationship from the situation all while trying to keep it a secret from her student.

A pothead surfer from Hawaii moves to New York City to reinvent himself as a journalist for the New York Times when his fiancee dies in a surfing accident as her ghost still haunts him.

A narcissist loses her compact mirror and spends the day actually taking a look at what's around her.

A wannabe gang member's bag is mixed up with a little kid's bag when they're on the subway (the bag has an unregistered gun in it), and she goes around the city hunting for the bag without looking suspicious/getting caught by any members of the rival gang.
